This course is for students who have just completed the most recent SAS Intermediate Spanish class or have some fluency in the language.  Students will continue to develop their Spanish language skills through conversation and listening.  Using a thematic approach, we will learn new vocabulary and sentence structure.  Emphasis will be on developing students’ written and verbal abilities.

For the major muscle groups, these free-weight exercises will increase muscular strength and endurance and will improve flexibility, range of motion, and body tone. The influence of warfare is arguably one of the least understood aspects of human history.  After a brief survey of the historical antecedents, we will examine how and why warfare continues to affect the militarization of American society, from the American Revolution to modern terrorism.  We will screen several documentaries about warfare and discuss the cultural consequences of our wars.
