Vocal technique will be taught through songs from a range of vocal literature — from pop to Broadway to classical. Opportunities to perform solo will be offered in a master class setting. Choral singing in harmony will also be included, based on the abilities and the number of students in the course. All abilities and levels of experience are welcome in this “non-threatening” opportunity to raise your voice in song!

In this class, students will learn different theater techniques, including pantomime, characterization and improvisation through exercises, scene work, and games.  Not only will the class be a lot of fun and full of laughs, we will also develop spontaneity, imagination, creativity and confidence, while working in pairs, small groups, and as an ensemble.  This class welcomes students of all levels, from Broadway stars to those who have never stepped on a stage!
